Goals

This project directly addresses the strategic EU objectives promoted in the Green Deal and European Cybersecurity strategies by innovating the Multi-Provider Cloud-Edge Continuum in two primary directions. First, it focuses on decentralized and resource-efficient Edge AI, deploying intelligent capabilities directly to the network edge to maximize scalability and efficiency via collaborative, distributed AI algorithms. These solutions systematically optimize data workflows, power consumption, and processing loads while seamlessly adapting to diverse hardware capabilities and computing environments. Second, the initiative prioritizes trustworthy infrastructure through the development of advanced security, privacy-preserving, and trust-aware frameworks. These mechanisms aim to reach robust operational resilience and compliance with European regulatory standards and legal frameworks for decentralized AI-driven applications.
